In collaboration with its partners, we offer a cultural programme that covers a wide range of Finnish cultural activities and reaches out to the entire German-speaking region. In particular, it enables emerging Finnish artists to forge alliances throughout Europe’s German-speaking regions.
As a partner of academic associations and research groups, universities and colleges in Finland and German-speaking countries, the Finnish Institute organizes events in a multitude of disciplines.
We set the stage for discussions on what's going on today in Finland's business world with experts and representatives from industry, interest groups and government. We focus on creative industries as well as on economic research and innovation.
Our library houses approximately 4,700 volumes from different disciplines in German, Finnish, Swedish and English, music CDs, CD-ROMs and DVDs. Daily papers and magazines are also available.
