The artist talk offers an opportunity to hear directly from Kaarina-Sirkku Kurz about her artistic practice and the works currently presented at the Reaching, Grasping, Wondering exhibition at the Finnland-Institut. In conversation, Kurz will speak about her work across photography and photographybased media and about the ideas and questions that shape her practice more broadly.

The talk will draw in particular on the series Supernature, Vom Fremdsein in der Welt and Soft  Code, parts of which are presented in the exhibition. Using these series as points of reference, Kurz will reflect on recurring themes within her practice as well as on how her work develops across different formats and over time. The artist talk invites dialogue and exchange, offering space for questions and discussion with the audience.
