Designer talk: Diversity, cultural heritage and sustainable design

Finland’s guest country exhibition Wild at Heart showcases contemporary Finnish design, that daringly explores new materials, shapes and techniques. The designer behind the folklore inspired works in the exhibition, Klaus Haapaniemi, will talk, together with Jaana Hjelt from the Finnish weaving mill Lapuan Kankurit and the Austrian designer Stephanie Klaura, about what role sustainability, their relation to nature and their own cultural heritage play in their work.

The talk will be held in English.
