The institute offers a diverse cultural and academic programme in collaboration with its partners in Finland, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The business aspect of the institute’s activity is closely connected with the respective programmes and its emphasis is on creative industry, innovations, and economic research. In addition, the institute offers travelling exhibitions for its partners to display and present Finnish culture, society, and history. The institute’s series of publications is published by Berliner Wissenschafts-Verlag and covers a wide range of current scientific and academic topics.
The institute’s library comprises approximately 4700 volumes of diverse disciplines in German, Finnish, English, and Swedish language. The loan of books is free of charge. Journals, magazines, and reference works can be read on location.

We organize informational events at study fairs and colleges on studying and internship possibilities in Finland. We offer personal counselling and current informational material for those interested.
