The project on European Voluntary Associations EVA organises a workshop on the topic of associations in Europe focusing on particularly Nordic experiences. One of the crucial issues of the discussion will be whether a regional or national epistemology constrains or enhances our understanding of voluntary associations in the age of civil society. The project on European Voluntary Associations is financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
