The German-Finnish Innovation Dialogues aim to provide a platform for representatives from science, business and politics, from Germany and Finland, who want to listen to first-hand experiences of faculty members, students and leading enterprises, and to debate the potential of interdisciplinarity for developing innovations. We expect indepth discussions about the benefits of interdisciplinarity in higher education and business as well as concrete approaches and first-hand experiences. One of the conference objectives is to create ideas for the future.
The discussion starts with the presentation of two universities as examples: the new Aalto University in Finland – the result of the merger of the Helsinki School of Economics, the Helsinki University of Technology and the University of Art and Design Helsinki – and RWTH Aachen University (Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen).
The first German-Finnish Innovation Dialogue is organised by the Finnish Institute in Germany and the Embassy of Finland.
If you are interested in participating in the German-Finnish Innovation Dialogue, please register by e-mail to info.berlin@formin.fi by 15th October.
